PMTA Individual Annual membership
A PMTA Individual membership is for one person. It does not cover those related/in a family who live with you nor extended relatives-friends.
Besides supporting a very worthy cause - the Pine Mountain Trail and our environment - you can also use your dues and/or donations as a tax deduction because the PMTA is a non-profit organization. By joining, you'll receive:
- a trail map via US mail.
- a membership card (you will get an email confirmation of membership and attached PDF file Membership Card for you to print and hold on to.
- If you go backpacking, after making reservations on line, you still must go by the park office to obtain your actual Backcountry Permit. You can present your PMTA membership card at the park office to waive the backcountry camping fee for yourself. You will have to pay for those who may come with you.
- We suggest you go to our PMTA Facebook page and join it for up to date information about the Trail and FDR State Park--https://www.facebook.com/groups/pinemountaintrail.
Plus, you'll get the opportunity to do volunteer work on the trail and make new friends. We post workday information on our Facebook Page. If interested in volunteering to be a "Trail Maintainer" or information about this, go to our website www.Pinemountaintrail.org and at the bottom of any page write us via CONTACT US.
Please give us 7 to 10 days from the date the membership order is placed to get the material to you via USPS.
