​FDR State Park and the Pine Mountain Trail are open all year with a few exceptions.
The FDR State Park office is open 8AM to 5PM 7 days a week all year except Christmas Day

We opened 4 new backcountry campsites in May 2024. All are on the 2024 map.
 See SITE DESCRIPTIONS on this website for details.  Note: Only ONE permit will be issued for each of the 21 backcountry campsites for an individual/group (thus, you will not have to share a site).

PineMountainTrail.org is a site dedicated to the construction, support, maintenance and enjoyment of the Pine Mountain Trail.
The Pine Mountain Trail is located in Meriwether and Harris Counties in west central Georgia.
