The FDR State Park Office is located at 2970 Georgia 190, Pine Mountain, GA 31822. We highly suggest going by the park office first, to obtain a required parking permit (backcountry permit if going backpacking) and to obtain a Pine Mountain Trail map which they sell at the office or you can purchase a map in advance here on our website under MAPS of the Trail.....
The Pine Mountain Trail is located with FDR State Park in west central Georgia approximately 80 miles southwest of Atlanta off US highway 27. The western terminus of the trail is right by the FDR Park entrance 380' up on GA Highway 190 (which begins across from the Callaway Country Kitchen/Gardens Country Store on US 27.) The eastern terminus of the trail (Mile 23) is at the WJSP-TV Tower parking lot trailhead located on GA Highway 85W just 1/10 mile north of GA 190. The GPS/physical address for the tower area is : 609 White House Pkwy, Warm Springs, GA 31830
