Workdays: Work leader Carl Carlson always has a section of the trail that needs repair, a blow-down that needs cutting up, a section of trail that needs re-routing, water bars to build, and general trail maintenance. Learn HOW the trail is built and help us out. Bring gloves, snacks and water. We provide any necessary tools and fun. It's a good idea to bring lunch if the workday starts at 10:00am. Trail work usually lasts from 3-5 hours at most. Come help for as long as you can. Usually kids about second grade age can do some things-so bring them along.

NOTE: For directions to the areas where hikes or workdays begin-come by the Roosevelt State Park office on GA Hwy 190 or call the park at 706-663-4858, or click here. The parking lots named are also on the current Pine Mountain Trail Map. You may also call Maintenance Supervisor Carl Carlson at 706-628-5336 or Vice President Jim Hall at 706-569-0497.
