F.D. Roosevelt State Park State Park Closed On December 1st, the Georgia DNR will allow unarmed hunters to scout for hunting sites, and will conduct a draw-permit deer hunt on December 2nd & 3rd. Signs will be posted at all PMT trail heads noting trails closed those days. This is a very controlled hunt and only draw-permit hunters will be allowed in the park
those days. No backpacking or hiking will be allowed.
